Manchester united defender, Leny Yoro will be out for three months with a fractured foot. The promising young defender, sustained a metatarsal injury during pre-season friendly against Arsenal in California. The injury occurred within the first half of the match, forcing Yoro to leave the field after just 32 minutes. This unfortunate event has left the club and fans concerned about the impact on the team’s defensive lineup as the new season approaches. The £52m summer transfer will may miss a considerable first half of the season, with Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag hoping Yoro can make a speedy recovery.

With Yoro’s prolonged absence United may be forced to bring in another central defender, regardless of if Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are sold. Matthijs de Ligt has been linked with a move, with Bayern Munich rejecting United’s latest’s offer. Jared Braithwaite is another option, although the club have been reluctant to meet up to Everton’s £70M valuation.
